Beverly Koonce Co-Owner & Professional Artist
Beverly Jean Koonce has always had an interest in Art, since an early age. She credits God for her talent, first and foremost, but has developed and practiced it throughout her career. After a brief study in Commercial Art at Sowela Technical Institute, Beverly enrolled at McNeese State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art/Advertising Design . She completed certification requirements for Art Education, K-12, a few years later. Beverly has been teaching Art in Calcasieu Parish for the past twelve years, currently at Vinton Elementary School.
Beverly enjoys teaching both children and adults to express themselves through the Arts. Portraiture in pencil and paint are her specialty areas. She especially enjoys drawing and painting small children and pets. Other hobbies include gardening, reading, singing and facebooking!
Beverly will be your instructor for your parties and private lessons.
Amanda Dawson Co-Owner
Amanda has always loved art, but not been very good at it. However, her aunt Beverly Koonce was always able to make it fun. She believes that art soothes the soul and is a great way to connect with others and make new friends.
Amanda is currently a nursing student at McNeese State University. She runs the business side of Art PartY. Amanda will assist at parties.
